Colourful and windy wedding
It was a very small and intimate wedding today with only 3 of the couple’s closest friends there, at Shelly Beach on Phillip Island. The wind was blowing a gale, making it a bit of a challenge, especially when a sand ceremony is involved. But we found a great spot behind the Tea Tree that not only sheltered us but gave us a private place with a wonderful ambiance.
The colours that they had chosen for the sand looked like the sea, the sky and the beach but they added their own special touch when we all scooped up some of the sand from the beach, including twigs, and small shells.
The bride and groom had some very personal vows that they said to each other and it was a very emotional time….although the groom did blame the wind for the tears in his eyes.comments powered by Disqus
