Lucky Rainy Wedding Day

Except for the unlucky ones that struggled to make it to their wedding. I did hear of a groom today that had a lot of trouble getting from Pakenham to his ceremony in the city, I hope it all worked out in the end.

My couple today were there long before the ceremony but that's because it was held at the bride's parents place and it was a surprise wedding. The problem they had, was the not all their guests were able to make it on time maybe because of all the flooding or maybe because not knowing it was a wedding, it was not a priority to get there early. This is the main problem with surprise weddings.

Some couples really don't want to have all the bells and whistles and some don't want their guests to go to any fuss by buying a wedding present. There are all sorts of reasons why couples want to have a surprise wedding and this is fine, as far as I am concerned, it's your wedding, it's your choice. Just beware though, that some friends and family may not prioritise your "party" or "dinner" or whatever reason you invite them over.

But when all is said and done, we all have different ideas and this is what makes the world as fascinating as it is. Even though, not everyone was able to make it to the wedding, they still had the perfect day in their eyes, and that's what counts!
