Plan B for Two weddings
I had two weddings yesterday, both in the same area and both needing to use plan B due to the weather, luckily plan B happened to be a beautiful chapel in both cases. But with the first wedding being at 10.30am and the second at 3.30pm, there was plenty of time in-between for Russell the Roadie and me to go get a yummy lunch including a Devon-shire tea (the diet will have to start next week)in one of the delightful cafe's that the Dandenong's host plenty of.
The first ceremony was at Chateau Wyuna in Lilydale and the plan was to have it under the pergola with all the Wisteria covering and hanging down. But the Chapel was also quite beautiful so the change was not really disappointing.
The two young daughters of the happy couple were perfectly behaved as they walked down the aisle holding the basket of rose petals and throwing the petals on the aisle for their mother to walk on. And it was a real family affair with the mother of the bride being her matron of honour and both bride and grooms fathers being groomsmen
The second ceremony was a very similar situation with the garden at Marybrook in Sherbrooke being very wet under foot, so in to the chapel again. It was wonderfully warm and I'm pretty sure that all the guests were quite grateful for this decision.
A fun filled wedding with lots of laughs and the bride and groom very happy!comments powered by Disqus
