Small intermit wedding
A really lovely young couple got married today. They were a very unassuming bride and groom who focused more on wanting to be married more than the bells and whistles of a big wedding. So, the ceremony turned out to be a small intimate wedding with the mother and grandmother of the groom travelling from England to see their boy marry the girl of his dreams. And it’s usually these small intermit weddings that I enjoy most as Russell the Roadie (otherwise known as my husband) and I feel closer to the guests. So when we were invited back to the reception for a drink, we did not hesitate.
And talk about blessed as far as the weather went, such a beautiful day…… at the Rose Garden at the Civic Reserve in Mornington which until yesterday I did not know existed. But now that I do know about it, I will be spruiking about this venue to anybody who will listen. An absolutely fabulous garden filled with roses and right in the middle is a rather large rotunda. There were more ducks on the grounds than we had guests for the wedding! The whole area is tended by volunteers and is very clean and neat. The cost for this venue is also very reasonable, so if you’re looking for a place to get married on the Mornington Peninsula, then you can’t go wrong if you choose this for your ceremony venue!comments powered by Disqus
