A stunning arrival

It was 10 minutes before the groom was due to arrive when I spied a touch of blue in the sky which continued to grow, giving me hope that the wedding at Cape Woolamai beach was not going to be washed out. And then, to my absolute joy, a bevy of swans (yes, I googled the word) swam past. As I marvelled at the idea that all is right with the world now that nature is playing the game, I heard the distant motor of the helicopter that delivered the groom and his groomsmen. The crowd cheered when they disembarked and then it was straight into preparing for the bride to arrive.

And by the time she and her 2 maidens arrived, the sky was blue and looking almost as beautiful as the bride herself. Her bridesmaids walked down the aisle to the beach, followed by two of the cutest flower girls and then a gorgeous bride walked down with her father towards her very fetching groom.

When I presented the marriage certificate to them at the end of the ceremony, the groom held it up with such pride because he was now married to the love of his life!Matt_helicopter.jpgswans.jpg
