The Wild Cattle Creek Winery in Wandin
What a day for a wedding! The Weather Gods decided to play havoc (as they do) and it’s Grand Final Day. But it’s all good! The wedding was held early in the day and at a perfect place when considering our Melbourne climate.
The Wild Cattle Creek Winery in Wandin is one of the most beautiful wineries that I have had the pleasure of conducting a wedding in. Amongst the beautiful vineyards and gardens is a lake and a rotunda. But the main beauty of this place is that if the wedding needs to be moved inside due to bad conditions, the large windows surrounding the restaurant almost bring the outside inside. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that is able to accommodate a ceremony under any conditions, able to hold the reception and contains accommodation, this is the place. And on top of that, the staff are all welcoming and friendly, particularly the wedding coordinator that I met today, Broadie, with her sparkling personality.
But enough of the venue, the Bride looked absolutely stunning. With a gorgeous flowing dress that matched her beautiful flowing hair. Her groom looked handsome as well but the one that stole the show was their 5 month old baby girl dressed up and smiling away while being held by her bridesmaid aunt. Then later during the ceremony, while being held by Pop, she gurgled away and behaved perfectly just as all little girls should at their mummy and daddy’s big day.
Just another significant moment during this ceremony as well was when the two mothers came up for a reading and the bride’s mother actually read something that was read at her own wedding. I had the tissues waiting in readiness for them both but surprise surprise, no tears, just smiles!comments powered by Disqus
